11 Simple Things You Can Do In A Day To Lose Weight And Feel Good

1.      When you wake up, before you get out of bed, think of 3 things you are grateful for. Bonus points if you say them out loud.

2.      Commit to drinking only water for the day. Okay, if you must have your coffee, skip the cream and the sugar.

3.      Wherever you drive, park in the furthest parking spot away and walk to your destination.

4.      Skip the elevator and take the stairs.

5.      Find 5 items of food in your kitchen that you know are not good for you, box them up and toss them or donate them.

6.      Plan all three of your meals in advance. Cook them yourself and don’t eat out. Eat slowly, while sitting down, and skip seconds and dessert.

7.      Include a protein at every meal and eat it first. Yogurt, chicken, fish all work.

8.      Carry a healthy snack of fruit or nuts with you wherever you go all day. Make it the only snack you eat if you are hungry.

9.      Commit to not eating carbs for the day. No bread, potatoes, rice…. you know the drill. Just skip them. Try it for just one day.

10.  Don’t eat anything after 7pm.

11.  When you get back into bed, before you fall asleep, think of 3 things you are grateful for.

 One day. How did it feel? Are you willing to do it again tomorrow?

 Trying is failing.  Doing is succeeding.
