Our Surgeons
Dr. Arthur Glasgow began his practice as a General Surgeon at Norwood Hospital 35 years ago. He has been President of the Medical Staff and Chief of Surgery. He was instrumental in bringing advanced laparoscopic surgery to Norwood Hospital and was one of the first surgeons in the area to perform laparoscopic gallbladder, anti-reflux and hernia surgery. Dr. Glasgow lives in Newton with his wife and enjoys spending time with his eight grandchildren.

Dr. Adam Glasgow started at Norwood Hospital more than 20 years ago as an orderly in the operating room. He returned as a moonlighter during his General Surgery residency and joined the staff full-time after completing his residency in 1999. During his years at Norwood Hospital he has served in many capacities, including on the hospital’s Medical Executive Committee. He is currently the Director of the Weight Loss Surgery Program. Dr. Glasgow lives in Dedham with his wife and two sons. He enjoys fishing and spending time in Maine.
